Short version: this website does not use cookies, does not track you, and does not collect or store any personal data. There are no analytics, no advertising, and no forms.
1. What This Site Collects
No forms, no sign-up, no contact form: there is nothing here that asks you for your name, your email or anything else about you.
The site uses Google Analytics to count visits, and it only counts them if you allow it. Until you press Accept on the strip at the bottom of the page, no cookie is written and no visit of yours is recorded. To be straight with you: Google's script is loaded either way, so Google's servers see your IP address even if you refuse — what they do not get is a cookie, an identifier, or a visit added to any statistic. You can change your mind at any time from Cookie settings in the footer.
2. Third-Party Services
To load and display correctly, the site requests a few resources from external providers. When your browser fetches them, those providers automatically receive technical data such as your IP address and browser type — this is standard for any web request:
- Vercel — hosting. Keeps standard server logs for security and operation. Always active: without it there is no page.
- Google Fonts — the typeface (JetBrains Mono) served from Google's servers. Always active.
- Google Analytics 4 (property G-EWBTDSJFVF) — loaded on every visit, but in Google's Consent Mode with consent set to denied. Denied means no cookies, no stored identifier and no measurement. If you press Accept, it starts working: it then sets cookies (
_gaand_ga_*, kept for up to two years) and reports the pages you open, the referring site, and rough device and country information. The advertising signals stay denied in both cases — permanently, because there is no advertising here and a click on Accept is about statistics and nothing else. If you accept and later change your mind, the cookies it set are deleted.
Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage as dc_cookie_choice, not in a cookie — a cookie to remember that you refused cookies would be a poor joke. Blocking third-party scripts or using a tracker-blocking browser stops Analytics from loading at all, and nothing on this site stops working either way.
3. Local Storage
The site saves one small, non-identifying preference in your browser's local storage: the display language you picked from the selector (stored as dc_lang_choice, with a value of en, it or es). It is used only to show the site in the same language on your next visit, instead of guessing from your browser. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
4. About the DitherCam App
This page covers only this marketing website. The DitherCam iOS app has its own, separate policy — see the App tab above — covering camera and photo library permissions.
5. Contact by Email
If you email info@krdesign.it, we receive your message and address only to reply. We don't add you to any list and don't share your details with anyone.
6. Your Rights
Since no personal data is collected or stored, there's nothing to access, correct or delete. For any privacy question you can still reach us at info@krdesign.it.
7. Images on This Site
The faces you see in the phone mockup and in the app screenshots on this site are synthetic images generated with AI tools, not photographs of real people. They are there to show what the effects do to a face. This site does not host photographs of identifiable people, and processes no biometric data.
